Provided the third new Gastro Bar in Central London next to the Bank of England, the location was in the square Mile and the Banking sector, the Bar was to have a small outside seating space 25 people and internal space for 400 people plus.
Project summary
WT This project was a New Build Gastro Bar of 12,000 sq. feet which was the biggest Bar within London at that time, it had an extensive food offer with an open Theatre kitchen, Cocktails, Coffee, and Drinks range, as stated previously this was the Third site For Drake and Morgan and followed on immediately from the Canary Wharf Bar, the design used was darker in its overall feel to reflect the City business clientele .
Outcome
The project was completed in 16 weeks working on-site in conjunction with the new Management team of Drake and Morgan, and their financial investment company the Imbiba Partnership. The problems encountered working in the squire mile was parking and deliveries.
The Managing Director for Drake and Morgan and the MD of Imbiba Investments commented,
“This was the Third site for D & M and by far the most expensive and the biggest, so it carried a high degree of risk to both D& M and Imbiba. Once again, we chose to work with CPM-WT as we knew that they could deliver the sophisticated design but could keep within the tight budgetary constraints we all had to work too. The end result was as we all hoped, and the Bar was an instant success within the Banking sector.”
